Whole house generator installation sizes and installs a system powerful enough to run your entire home during an outage – not just a few essential circuits, but everything from your HVAC system to every outlet and appliance, so life continues as close to normal as possible when the grid goes down.
We install these for Western, NE homeowners who don't want to prioritize which circuits matter most during an outage – they want the whole house covered, especially in homes with larger electrical loads, multiple HVAC zones, or families who simply can't afford to lose power to any part of the house for an extended period.
We calculate your home's full electrical load first, since a whole-house system needs to be sized correctly to handle everything running at once, not just on paper capacity. From there we install the generator unit, run gas or propane fuel lines sized for continuous operation, and install a transfer switch capable of managing your full panel rather than a limited subset of circuits. We handle permitting and coordinate any required inspections along the way.
Cost depends on your home's total electrical load, the generator size needed to cover it, and the scope of gas line and electrical work required.
